Pilgrim

Once there was a pilgrim on a tortuous path seeking enlightenment. On a particular crevice in his climb he slips and hurtles down the precipice. Perchance he grabs hold of a branch jutting out from a fall and ends up hanging for dear life. In all this he loses strength and could not muster enough to pull himself up.

"Help! Is anybody there?"

All he gets to hear is his own panting breath and raw fear

"Help! Is anybody there? Is somebody there? Help!"

His cries now faint as all this starts to dry up his mouth. The fatigue starts getting to him

"Help! Is anybody there?"

"THERE IS"

a voice booms

"Who is it?"

"GOD"

At this somehow through all this struggle a hope arises inundating the pilgrim with gratitude

"God! Thank God help me what should I do"

"LET GO"

suddenly all goes eerily silent his arms are also slowly giving away and the response from the almighty leaves the man stunned

"God is there no other way? What should I do"

"LET GO"

comes the booming response.

At this the pilgrim summons all his strength and cries out

"Help! Is there anyone ELSE out there!!!"
