Letting go is the journey inward. Letting go the form of understanding
one has acquired to enter the eye of the eagle hovering miles above
surveying the terrain revealing the aspect of ourselves that is never
questioned. The aspect can be regarded as the unconscious as it goes
about animating the world without any particular purpose or interest. It
is scary to begin with as it is not yet mastered. There is a peculiar
tendency of the conscious mind that is relatively peaceful only
when it can lord over that it does not understand. It may not be very
keen to even understand and would prefer bypassing the bit about
understanding and jump straight to the seat with the joy stick. Letting
go is to walk the walk, to face what one is presented with and not
walking away, accepting it and responding to it. Being the student of
ones’ unconscious is what can be termed as spirituality. As a student
learns, not to usurp the rank or stature of the master but not being the
servant either. As one learns about what gets revealed the boundaries
of the conscious and the unconscious change. The words lose the potency
to describe the experience of ones’ presence. One is just is, quiet,
what then is unconscious?
